Machine Knitting Workshop

Machine Knitting workshop is located in Beautiful North Wales. The instructor Janice Thomas has many years of experience as a machine knitter initially from the 1980's and like many, after knitting with a variety of machines had a gap of not knitting only to return and find that the market had changed dramatically. One of the notable changes, a lack of hands on training.

So whether you're a complete beginner or a returner looking for inspiration and guidance, these workshops are not just a great way to gain new skills but also a great source of information. The workshops are tailored to suit your level and designed to help you learn new skills and techniques in a fun and supportive environment.

Workshops are run on a regular basis as long as there are a minimum of three participants for the part time workshops (3hrs) and two for the full time workshops (6hrs) All materials, machines and light refreshments are free of charge and provided on the day. Please let us know in advance if there are dietary requirements.

Additional workshops include using your lace carriage to create many variations of beautiful lace designs for which Brother knitting machines are renowned and a 2 day workshop on using the ribber which is an exciting addition of the knitting machine  is where many machine knitters fear to tread.
